Most studies have shown little or no omega-three content in any form of meat from cattle "which begs the question: why does eating red meat increase your risk for heart disease? While there are many factors involved with this I would say one really big part is because people eat too many grains these days which leads to inflammation which then leads to insulin resistance then eventually type two diabetes "and heart disease! This is why grass fed beef has become an excellent alternative to grain -fed because it contains more omega-three fatty acids, vitamins, and minerals which are essential for good health.
