The Balance of Omega-3 And Omega-6 Fatty Acids in Grass fed Farming

 For good health, it is really necessary to add both omega-6 and omega-3 fatty acids-rich food to your diet. However, various studies have found that on average, Americans consume a pretty high amount of omega3 and omega 6 components in their diet with a ratio as high as 20:1. On the factual side, the prescribed ratio should be around 4:1.     A considerable factor behind such an unhealthy diet component is the meat that Americans eat. Most Americans eat grain-fed meat which has very unbalanced ratios of omega 3 and omega6 nutrients. While these meat products contain a high amount of omega6, omega3 is present in very minimal amounts.   So, grass fed beef farming can compensate for the lack of omega 3 by consuming plants and grass which are rich sources of omega 3. Ideally, a grass fed cow produces milk with about 30% less omega 6 nutrient and about 60 % more omega 3 nutrient.      Hence, grass-feeding can balance the omega3 and omega 6 imbalance bringing an ideal dietary product that
